We are excited you chose to visit us!  In the next several pages, we would like to introduce ourselves and give you some valuable information about braces.

We are proud of our state of the art facilities.  For your convenience we have two locations. One office is located near Sequoyah Hills right off of Alcoa Highway. Our second office is located on Callahan Drive near the Lowes, Target, and Kroger shopping complex. 

In our office, we strive to offer the most up to date technologies while still maintaining a very home-like, comfortable and fun atmosphere. We accomplish this by treating each patient like they are a member of our own family.  We are open Monday thru Thursday 8:30 until 5:30 and one Friday a month from 9am until 2pm.  Any day is available at either office. 

Our goal is to give each patient a beautiful smile that will last for a lifetime. Utilizing the most current bracket systems and wires, we are able to accomplish this in a very efficient manner. We believe in using treatment systems that not only make your teeth look beautiful and straight, they also compliment your facial features as well.  This is accomplished by evaluating facial types and using the most appropriate treatment techniques giving each patient a "balanced and youthful" appearance.  Visit our photo gallery for examples.

Meet Dr. Kristin Knierim

A Knoxville native, Dr. Knierim has 10 years of training for her profession.  After earning her undergraduate degree at Emory University in Atlanta, Dr. Knierim attended Dental School at U. T. Memphis.  She worked at her father's former orthodontic office, and with general dentist, Dr. Changas for two years before returning to orthodontic school.  She completed her orthodontic training in July 2005 at Indiana University. 

Hi, my name is Dr. Kristin Knierim.  I grew up in Knoxville and graduated from Knoxville Catholic High School.  My late father, Dr. Rupert Knierim, was also an orthodontist. Growing up in his office, as well as being a patient myself, I realized how much I loved orthodontics and decided at an early age that would be my calling.  . In my spare time, I enjoy horseback riding, hiking, skiing, biking and reading.  I have one dog and three horses.  I love East Tennessee because of the beauty, the outdoor activities and the friendly people.

We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home!  We make it our business to get to know our patients so we can deliver state-of-the-art orthodontic treatment in an atmosphere that is relaxed and nurturing.  Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient.  Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care.
